Misuse
A do-not gallery. Eight rules that protect the BetterGuard mark and voice.
DO NOT
Stretch the lockup
Maintain the original aspect ratio of every lockup. If a container forces another aspect, use the stacked or icon variant.
DO NOT
Recolor the logo
Never apply a non-brand color to the lockup. Use the mono-white or mono-black variant for single-color contexts.
DO NOT
Outline the lockup
Never add a stroke around the lockup or the shield mark. The mark is solid by design.
DO NOT
Add drop shadows
Never apply a drop shadow to the lockup. Backgrounds carry the elevation, not the mark.
DO NOT
Pair with off-brand fonts
Set BetterGuard product names in Sora. Setting "BetterGuard" in another typeface breaks the wordmark.
DO NOT
Use emoji or em-dash in copy
No emoji, no em-dash, no en-dash, no invisible Unicode anywhere in product copy or comments.
DO NOT
Use a bottom or right border for active sidebar
Active sidebar state uses a 3px LEFT BORDER in cyan #00B8D4. Bottom or right borders are wrong.
